Event: 4th Annual Great Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show
Location: The Ritz-Carlton in Washington, DC
Description: The ADDF is hosting its 4th Annual Great Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, DC. The Luncheon is co-chaired by Leonard A. Lauder and Elise and Marc Lefkowitz, and in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue. Pat Summitt, former head coach of the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteer basketball team, will receive the Great Ladies Award. Coach Summitt, the all-time winningest coach in NCAA basketball history, has been bravely battling early onset Alzheimer’s since 2011. This fabulous event will feature a runway show and special appearance by Erdem. NBC’s Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent, Andrea Mitchell, will host the morning symposium presented by Howard Fillit, MD, Executive Director and Chief Science Officer. Kathleen Matthews, Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer for Marriott International, will emcee the Luncheon. Please join us for a day of wonderful food, fashion, and inspiration.”
Event: Eighth Annual Connoisseur’s Dinner
Location: Sotheby’s in New York City
Description: The ADDF is hosting its Eighth Annual Connoisseur’s Dinner, “To Live is to Think,” on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Sotheby’s in New York City. Leonard A. Lauder, Co-Chairman of the ADDF, will be honored with the Chairman's Award and Norah O’Donnell, co-anchor of CBS This Morning, will host. 2014 marks the milestone, ten-year anniversary of the ADDF and we hope you will join us for an evening of art and wine to celebrate Mr. Lauder's leadership, dedication, and vision to find a cure for Alzheimer’s in his lifetime.
