To raise awareness and support, the ADDF hosts a series of events throughout the year.
Event: 2014 New York City Marathon
Location: New York, NY
Description: Meet us in Central Park on November 2, 2014 at 9:40 am as we cheer on the Runners for Alzheimer’s Research team in the TCS New York City Marathon. All funds raised in support of the team will benefit the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF).Then, join us from 1 to 4 pm at a post-marathon reception at a venue to be determined. Access to the reception is free for those who make a minimum donation of $25. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $25 each. Interested in joining the team? Event: Fifth Annual Fall Symposium & Luncheon
Location: The Pierre, New York City, NY
Description: Join us in New York City on November 3, 2014 for our Fifth Annual Fall Symposium & Luncheon at The Pierre. The Symposium & Luncheon, which kicks off National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, will begin with an exciting science symposium led by Howard Fillit, MD, Founding Executive Director and Chief Science Officer of the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation. Following the symposium, we will fete restaurateur and TV lifestyle expert B. Smith (Barbara Smith) at a luncheon hosted by eight-time Emmy award-winning journalist Paula Zahn.
