4th Drug Discovery for Neurodegeneration: An Intensive Course on Translating Research into Drugs

Designed as a comprehensive course, this annual conference provided participants with the fundamental knowledge and resources, as well as the associated barriers and challenges on creating new drugs to treat and prevent neurodegenerative disease. Case studies on Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Multiple Sclerosis were included in the discussions. The meeting attracted 92 leading academic, industry and government scientists from around the world. The ADDF developed this conference in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
